Forklift Operator

Location: Ronkonkoma, NY

Pay: $20–$22 per hour

Employment: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to support material movement, warehousing, and production operations within a food manufacturing facility.

The position involves safely operating powered industrial equipment, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining material flow, and completing accurate inventory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other authorized material-handling equipment.
• Load, unload, transport, stage, and store raw materials and finished goods.
• Move products between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
• Verify and document inventory movements and material transactions.
• Maintain accurate pick sheets and inventory records.
• Inspect equipment before use and report deficiencies.
• Support material replenishment and warehouse housekeeping.
• Follow OSHA, GMP, food safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience safely operating powered industrial equipment.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts and/or stand-up reach equipment preferred.
• Ability to accurately handle materials and complete inventory documentation.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to follow established safety and food-handling procedures.

Compensation: $20–$22 per hour.
