Perfect Placement Group is recruiting dependable Production & Packaging Associates for a family-owned steel processing company in Butler, Indiana.

This is a direct-hire position, not temporary staffing.

The regular schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, giving you a three-day weekend most weeks.

And for employees who want additional earnings:

• Friday overtime: typically 8 hours at 1.5x
• Saturday overtime: when available, typically 8 hours at 2x
• Saturday overtime is generally voluntary
• Additional annual incentive and recognition opportunities are available

Pay

2nd Shift

• $20.00/hour base rate
• +$1.00/hour second-shift differential
• = $21.00/hour scheduled rate
• +$1.00/hour attendance bonus when weekly attendance requirements are met
• = up to $22.00/hour

What You'll Do

You'll work at the end of a steel-processing operation preparing finished material for shipment to customers.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Banding and securing finished steel products
• Preparing finished material for shipment
• Checking labels, tags and identification numbers
• Making sure customers receive the correct material
• Working safely around production and material-handling equipment
• Keeping pace with production while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Learning additional production and material-handling tasks as your skills develop
