Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-3:00 PM

About the Opportunity

Perfect Placement Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing distribution company seeking a Delivery Center Supervisor to lead daily operations at its North Englewood, MD facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising delivery drivers, coordinating daily operations, maintaining exceptional customer service, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys leading from the front, coaching employees, solving problems, and stepping in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of delivery drivers and warehouse personnel.
• Coordinate daily delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Monitor employee productivity, attendance, safety, and performance.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and workload planning.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Investigate and resolve customer service and operational issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient delivery center.
• Partner with leadership to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
• Operate a delivery route when business needs require additional support.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in delivery, transportation, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Experience coaching employees and holding team members accountable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both warehouse and outdoor environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive aftermarket or parts distribution experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet operations.
• Experience with routing, dispatching, or transportation management systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
