Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist
A growing organization is seeking a Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist to manage payroll processing and time and attendance administration across a multi-site workforce.
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll, maintaining employee time records, and supporting compliance across payroll and benefits-related processes. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and audit employee time and attendance records, resolving discrepancies prior to payroll processing
- Administer and manage timekeeping system workflows, including approvals, corrections, and reporting
- Partner with HR and operations to ensure accurate employee data, pay rates, and status changes
- Support benefits deductions and ensure proper payroll integration
- Handle employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, PTO, and timekeeping
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Generate payroll reports and support audits as needed
- Maintain employee records within isolved HCM
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-site or hourly workforce environment
- Strong experience with time and attendance systems and payroll workflows
- Experience with isolved HCM or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and deductions
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach
Preferred
- Experience processing payroll for large or distributed workforces
- Exposure to benefits administration and payroll integration
- Intermediate Excel skills (reporting, audits, data validation)
