Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist


A growing organization is seeking a Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist to manage payroll processing and time and attendance administration across a multi-site workforce.


This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll, maintaining employee time records, and supporting compliance across payroll and benefits-related processes. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities


  • Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and audit employee time and attendance records, resolving discrepancies prior to payroll processing
  • Administer and manage timekeeping system workflows, including approvals, corrections, and reporting
  • Partner with HR and operations to ensure accurate employee data, pay rates, and status changes
  • Support benefits deductions and ensure proper payroll integration
  • Handle employee inquiries related to pay, deductions, PTO, and timekeeping
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
  • Generate payroll reports and support audits as needed
  • Maintain employee records within isolved HCM



Qualifications


  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-site or hourly workforce environment
  • Strong experience with time and attendance systems and payroll workflows
  • Experience with isolved HCM or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
  • Solid understanding of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and deductions
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach



Preferred


  • Experience processing payroll for large or distributed workforces
  • Exposure to benefits administration and payroll integration
  • Intermediate Excel skills (reporting, audits, data validation)
